Phage Refinery founders Dr. Philip Serwer and Dr. Jim Chambers, along with their students, made four separate presentations at the most recent SURF military-medical research forum, held on June 15th at The University of Texas at San Antonio.

Over 250 participants from each service branch of the DoD heard more than 40 presentations on a range of current research topics, including several on various aspects of phage therapy.

The mission of the SURF conference is to “advance research collaborations among academic, military, and industry partners to improve health outcomes and readiness.”
